Eligibility Criteria and Reservation for Nursing Assistant Post

The Nursing Assistant (General) post is tailored for candidates with a GNM diploma or those who have completed a Class-I Nursing Assistant course in the Armed Forces. In addition, applicants should have at least 5 years of hands-on experience in nursing or clinical roles. The upper age limit is 56 years, with standard relaxations applicable for reserved categories. This role is compensated with a monthly salary of ₹28,100. Similar to the Medical Officer role, this position also features a reservation structure, with 70% of seats allocated to Ex-Servicemen and 30% to civilians, promoting equal opportunity while prioritizing veterans.

Step-by-Step Application Process

Interested candidates must first download the official application form from the ECHS website at www.echs.gov.in. Once the form is filled out with accurate details, applicants are required to attach self-attested copies of their academic qualifications, experience certificates, ID proof, and two recent passport-sized photographs. For ex-servicemen, attaching a copy of the PPO (Pension Payment Order) is mandatory. The complete application package should then be sent via post to the Officer-in-Charge (OIC), Station HQ (ECHS Cell), Srinagar, INS Tanaji, Sion Trombay Road, Mankhurd, Mumbai 400088. All submissions must reach this address by 9 June 2025, as late applications will not be entertained under any circumstances.

Selection Process and Training Requirements

The selection process for both positions is straightforward and purely based on interview performance. There is no written examination involved.
